Tech Culture Explorers

A unique opportunity to learn about and examine technology and culture. Participants are exposed to top corporations, professionals and communities both locally and globally. It’s all about cultivating and fostering diversity of thought and expanding our student’s horizons, so that they may be better equipped to lead.

A 1-day event inside select Microsoft stores that includes three 2-hour introduction to coding workshops. The interactive experience is designed for girls ages 8 – 13 years old and lead by Microsoft instructors.

We’re connecting girls and trailblazing women with a cinematic twist. We give budding storytellers an opportunity to make short films highlighting women leading in technology and innovation across industries. Click here for Hall of Fame Films 2016.

2017 MAY

Tech Innovation Villages are tech driven spaces we help to create for non-profit community organizations in disadvantaged communities nationwide. The villages are rooms designed or re-designed where the organization operates.

2017 JUNE

WE HACK TOO

Virtual + 11 City Launch Event

We Hack Too is a global 192-hour virtual with a 1-day multi-city Business Development & Design Incubator event inside Microsoft stores. Students come together with mentors to create solutions to problems. Click here for We Hack Too 2017.

2017 JULY

We’re teaching young girls and women about the business of digital media. Participants create short content and design distribution strategies. They get an in-depth look into the worldof social media, generating and sharing content. Click here for Girl Power Biz Camp 2017.

A dynamic opportunity for students to learn about the creative industries and how they drive products and business. Participants engage in immersive hands-on experiences at leading companies. From advertising, architecture and publishing to product development, marketing and fashion design. Each boot camp, workshop and event focuses on a particular industry. Students learn about a industry, the type of work professionals do within that industry, explore company culture and discover a vast array of career paths.
