GIRL POWER DIGICAMP

A 1-day bootcamp for teen girls. Participants brainstorm and produce digital concepts, designs and develop marketing strategies. From digital ad campaigns to online videos they learn to use technology to empower. Students collaborate in groups and are guided by industry professionals who serve as mentors.

GIRL POWER BIZ CAMP

New York, NY

Participants identify a challenge that young girls and women face and develop short episodic digital content. They brainstorm and produce concepts as well as design and develop strategies that educate and inspire around issues like; appearance, bullying and self-esteem. We provide participants with the tools and insights on how to make a social impact as they learn how to use technology as a tool for good.

2018 JUNE

DIGITAL STORYTELLERS

VidCon
Anaheim, CA

High school and college level students create online content around the VidCon experience. The program includes a 3 day pre-production content strategy. Following, participants produce and edit their online videos. The solution-based platform is designed to help increase the number of women of color attending VidCon, creating digital content, gaining insights, building networks and garnering experience.

TECH CULTURE EXPLORERS

A dynamic platform for students to learn about the advertising industry and how to create digital ad campaigns. Participants engage in an immersive 1-day hands-on experience at a leading advertising agency. Students not only collaborate on projects they learn about core business imperatives, explore company culture and discovers career opportunities.

EMPOWHER

Girls To Greatness Summit

A hands-on workshop where teen girls are introduced to the Product Development & Design process. Participants brainstorm ideas, research their audience and marketplace, create sketches, develop wireframes and design their app or website product. In the process, students learn how existing products were created.

An interactive Product Development & Design experience that educates participants how to develop a new product. The students use technology to empower their community by developing solutions to challenges they face. With the integration of business and STEM knowledge, they collaborate to develop innovative tech-driven solution-based ideas.

From advertising, architecture and publishing to product development, marketing and fashion design. Each boot camp, workshop and event focuses on a particular industry. Students learn about a industry, the type of work professionals do within that industry, explore company culture and discover a vast array of career paths.
