B~STEM Project is made possible by corporate sponsorship as well as through grants and individual contributions to our non-for-profit B~STEM Project Foundation. We can only achieve our mission because of the generous support and commitment of all of our partners and contributors.
Our Corporate Partnership Program is designed to work collectively and collaboratively with other corporations, academia and nonprofits to increase the pipeline of women trained in business and STEM related disciplines across industries and to prepare them for successful careers.
MICROSOFT HAS BEEN A B~STEM PARTNER SINCE 2015. Their support of our organization has been an amazing collaboration. Most recently, they have been instrumental in providing support to our Fashion Biz Tech and We Hack Too events, where they have provided the use of their stores as tech hubs, gifted participants with technology, as well as tech workshops. Their community and retail divisions have amazing staff who have been pivotal in creating more opportunities for young women in tech.
TECHNOLOGY IS …
- An essential component to organizations across every industry
- A core competency for the 21st century workforce
- One of the fastest-growing sectors in the economy, adding nearly 1.4 million job openings by 2020
Over two-thirds of these jobs could go unfilled due to the insufficient pool of college graduates with computing-related degrees alone. These statistics are consistent if not more disparaging across industries, and women represent a vastly untapped talent pool. B~STEM’s partners play a major role in supporting our mission to do our part to change this. Their support provides the resources and expertise needed to deliver a sustainable, scalable youth development events and programs in the technology field.
BECOME A PARTNER
Through our events and programs we are able to offer unique and invaluable opportunities to young girls and women from middle school to recent college graduates who are new to the workforce, with a keen focus on those who are socially and economically challenged.
It’s both a social and business imperative that we help young girls and women gain the insights, tools and resources necessary to achieve their goals as well as to become an integral part of technological age we live in today.
